Dynamics AX vs. Dynamics 365

With the introduction of Dynamics 365, Dynamics AX has now become Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. While the technical features are essentially the same, Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations does offer some benefits that Dynamics AX does not.

Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations is a Software-as-a-Service (Saas) product, meaning you need only a browser to access your application and data. An advantage of this is significantly reduced IT costs, as there is no infrastructure or maintenance required.
